Meet Shannon Norman, the Experience Behind Missouri Divorce Info
Missouri Divorce Info was created by Shannon Norman of Shannon Norman Law, an attorney with a diverse background in family law, advocacy, research, and client support. As a practicing family law attorney in Missouri for more than 15 years, Shannon authors each course with the insight of someone who has helped individuals and families navigate real divorce, custody, and separation matters.
Originally from south Louisiana, Shannon grew up working in her family’s aviation business and later worked with international companies and government agencies, experiences that shaped her ability to work with people from many different backgrounds.
Shannon is a graduate of St. Louis University School of Law and holds bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Criminology from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, along with a certification in trauma studies. She is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Louisiana.
Through her legal clinic work, litigation experience, appellate practice, and years of family law experience, Shannon developed a strong foundation in research, writing, and helping clients navigate complex legal issues. Missouri Divorce Info reflects that same commitment: making legal education more approachable, practical, and supportive for individuals and families facing divorce or separation.
